Match Officials confirmed for final pool matches of Barclays Churchill Cup

Scotland A have already secured their place in the 2006 Barclays Churchill Cup Final but there is still plenty to play for in the final pool games this weekend.

England Saxons will battle against hosts Canada to try and secure a place in the Barclays Churchill Cup Plate Final in Edmonton next week, whilst in California the New Zealand Maori will take on Ireland A to determine the other cup finalist.

The Saxons / Canada match will be refereed by Ireland's Trevor Olan whilst England's Andrew Small will take charge in Santa Clara. Both referees are making their Barclays Churchill Cup debuts this year. Trevor is a Celtic League and Irish panel referee in Ireland whilst Andrew is Head of Boys Games at Chesham Preparatory School in Buckinghamshire.  Andrew is a Guinness Premiership referee in England.

Olan will be assisted by Gary Wise of New Zealand, Kevin McCaslin of USA and Joyce Henry and Derek Stoltz who are both from Canada.  Andrew will be assisted by Scotland's Peter Allan, Phil Smith of Canada and Patrick McNally and Paul Bretz who are both from the USA.

Saturday 10th June:
Toronto  - Canada v.  England Saxons kick off at 2.45pm (local)           
Santa Clara -  Ireland A v. New Zealand Maori kick off at 2.30pm (local)
